Two months ago, while being a camp leader in Spain also
Heading with my kids to the archery place
People from a horse riding place are bringing their horses for an activity this afternoon
One of the horses got stuck on the spiky fence, this startles the rest of them, one of them gets so frightened or smth that It starts running inside the camping grounds.
I know nothing of this, i just see a horse running like crazy and get confused and worried
Suddenly a man i don't know brings me the rogue horse and tells me to mantain It still, then disappears.
I have never held a horse
The kids are gathering around the horse with arrows and bows
Luckily I kept my composture and managed to hold the horse. No kid was harmed and I came to respect horses more. He could have started running again and I could have done nothing yo stop It, but he didn't. Came to like very much being with horses after that.
What a weird first day
