this is what i got so far, obviously i'm not much of an artist (let alone game dev) but i have some minor autismo with uniforms and i stalked my local sewer workers for inspiration so this is also what i'd recommend to you:
>hard hat with head lampas you can never have enough noggin protection and light while a dimmer ambient light is always welcome whenever your flashlight hands get busy
>overallsare comfy because you can just throw them in the washing machine when you're done (maybe let them soak in detergent first if they're really dirty to not upset waifu) but you may overheat in them eventually
the electricity and gas guys have really pretty ones, light blue with red accents and reflective silver stripes which are also visible if you're lost and people flash lights to see you
>wading pantspvc fishing ones are decent too and you don't have to worry about any water getting in, not quite sure about the grip on the boots though so you might you want to be cautions about that
you should probably bring some respirators too just in case but i'm not too familiar with those, maybe milsurp gas mask work too just make sure to use the asbestos-free ones but i'm not too familiar with those either, maybe ask /k/
