>>2432381What the other guy said. Only the Mojave rattler is aggressive in that they'll actually chase you. Most like timber rattlers or great basin rattlesnakes are shy and defensive. They'll run first. Western Diamondbacks are mean and tough, they bite a lot of people, but they're not aggressive persé, they're but chasers. But unlike the others they'll hold their ground and are fast to bite if you get too close. People stumble into them all the time because they're well hidden in the bushes
