I have the 4xAA version of OPs light. It's an indestructible light but not that great.
The olight that runs off one cr123 is cool because of its compact size, magnetic tail cap, and reversible pocket clip. Reverse the pocket clip and you can slap it on a hat brim so it works like a headlamp.
Fenix makes a decent product. I think I have a pd35 or something, goes up to ~1k lumens. Great if you already have 18650's and a charger. I purchased it 6 or 7 years ago for $65 and have dropped it from height multiple times and it still functions like day one.
My current work flashlight is a Streamlight stylus pro USB. Light, rechargeable, about the size of a marker so it fits in a shirt pocket. If I need more light Ill grab a led work light or a halogen work lamp.
I have two Jetbeam flashlights, one a AA the other AAA. Both are nice, small, and have a good finish. The AA model accepts 14500 rechargeables and is quite bright for such a small light.
I was recently given a LED maglite, 2 C-cells. It's huge, heavy, and not very bright. The old maglites had spare bulbs and shit hidden in the tail cap but this doesn't. It's a well made product but the only use for it I have is if the power goes out and I need to find a better flashlight. Picrel, it's big enough to be impractical but not big enough to bludgeon minorities with.
