I wish to propose my city township to plant hedges on many busy streets.
This reduces pollution and looks good.
Might even save some old farts life that attempts to cross the street in a hurry.

Looking for advice on what type(species) of hedge should be used.

Keep in mind that temperatures during summer are around 30 C and during winter around 0 C, though we sometimes get 2 weeks that have -10 C
