Did anyone else wild camp for the Solstice sunrise this morning, or going to wild camp for the Sunset this evening? I did. I camped up ontop of Cribyn, in the Brecon Beacons. It was fucking glorious.

You really shouldn't camp on top soil like that. It can damage the ecosystem. Stick to the fucking trails. Leave no trace means LEAVE NO TRACE. You fucking flattened the grass.

Yup.

Met a local who lives across the river from the national park. Started telling me about Yowie sightings in the area... apparently it's a hot spot. Showed me a picture on his phone that he apparently took of this gorilla looking thing hiding behind a rock on his property.
