>>2401400Yeah that’s pretty much a daily occurrence in my truck (New Orleans) if it’s parked in direct sunlight. We’ve had temps over 80 since April this year, just like a lot of the South and Midwest. It’s been hovering around 100 this week. Most of the eastern half of the country was screwed out of a nice spring with a very early and brutally hot summer.
The heat is relentless, and combined with the, uh, “urban” crime and threat of hurricanes my wife and I have decided to relocate (to Oregon). It’s just relentless, especially this time of year. It was 90° when I got to work at 7:45, so the heat index was probably pushing 100° before 8am. It doesn’t really cool off until September, maybe. Just crazy heat for months on end.
