Best Stakes/Poles for desert environment?

I just got a french f1 tent was curious about good stakes and poles to replace the ones that come with them. im gonna be in a dirt/sandy area so i need a few pointers on ones that fit the f1 and not completely eat shit in the desert.

I'm also interested in how to stake in "desert pavement". Even with the thin short sharp ones I wasn't able to get them in all the way. Every time I've set up a tent in the desert I've weighted it down with rocks etc and positioned behind a windbreak but it would be nice to not worry as much about it blowing away while I'm gone.

How do you like the tent otherwise? I was thinking about getting one of these. Could two people with both their gear sleep fairly comfortably in one?

Depends on your size and grear. I sleep two with minimal gear no problem but I'll not huge

One person with gear or two persons without gear. I used to use a French F2 tent with my brother when we were hiking. I am 191cm tall and he is 193cm tall and we both were able to fit inside the tent with relative comfort. I'd have to say that condensation is a bitch though.
