I'd say that they challenge the validity of the show as presented, however, being a homesteader doesn't necessarily mean they can't go into town sometimes. On the show though, they certainly do make it seem like they don't rely on the town at all.

I don't get it, must be for the chicks or something, I am into prospecting but can't watch more than one e[isode of any gold 'show'. I get the idea, moving on...in the end its hours and hours of infotainment relaity garbage. They do a good a job as anyone can, you might be looking for documentaries.
