I couldn't find a photo for it, but we once stopped the whole place from going up into flames.
Teens were shooting at old appliances that had been dumped and something blew up. The whole forest was nothing but a tinderbox at the time of year, and their so-called friends ditched them in case the cops came. My group turned the corner to find them dumbfounded, so we did everything we could to put it out with this shovel we had just found minutes earlier after crawling out of the pit. It helped there had been an inflatable jacuzzi dumped, too, because we used that like we would have used a fire blanket (and it did wonders in a pinch).
Don't know if it's an unspoken rule to not take the left-behind tools, but it definitely worked out for the better this time. The place got shut down because of this & a few other incidents, though. Sucks to suck.
