So my country announced rolling blackouts will be a thing soon, and that means it is going to happen a LOT sooner and be more than rolling.
So I am trying out lanterns. I bought a camping lantern with a 3000mah lithium battery in the hopes that there will be intermittent power to recharge it from time to time, but it does not recharge fast enough to just hook up a powerbank. So I need something more substancial. But all larger lanterns have this annoying "cap" on top that does not allow light to illuminate the ceiling of a room. Does this have a reason or do all lantern manufacturers just assume that people want to feel like they are in the 1800's?
I just get the same crappy results on google, so does anyone have experience with lithium battery lanterns with LARGE battery capacity, so it can actually be run on full brightness all night or several nights, can be recharged by a USB powerbank, and if you can link me to some, preferrably around one thousand lumens but down to about 400 lumens is also acceptable. And I really want them to be frosted and have a dome shape on top for illuminating the ceiling too. Thanks.
