>>2415538I personally would go hiking. My large revelation of me finally seeing nature as a wonderful thing came after a four hour trek on a mountain nearby.
You really struggle, moving up, the trail gets steeper.
Yet you keep at it. You keep moving, the trail starts to change from dirt to stone.
Yet you keep at it.
Finally, after the agonizing and very challenging climb, you look out upon a clearing near the top.
You see nothing but trees, mountains, lakes and rivers for miles and miles.
The road you came from way down at the beginning is barely visible.
Your problems seem minuscule in comparison.
All the pain, sweat and effort put into getting up this mountain is well worth the beauty of the view.
And the best part? You get to go back down the mountain, and you get to do it without all the troubles.
It's all steep downhills where the issue isn't how long you're taking, but that you're going too fast.
You completely get to the bottom of the behemoth, and you do it in half the time it took you to get to the top.
Your muscles are sore, aching. You have sweat all covering you. Mosquito bites litter the areas you forgot to spray.
But it's worth it.
