Yea it is a hill peoples bag. I really like it, it is the best way to carry concealed off body. I keep alot of stuff in mine, like a gps, gun, med kit, spare mag, lighter, etc. Only bad thing is that it makes you look like a tranny if you wear a poncho over it, which I noticed yesterday.

I was thinking about a tit pouch as well, but i would have it connected to my backpacks shoulder straps. It should contain maybe two liter bottles of water, a Katadyn befree water filter and maybe a few snacks.
Haven't found the right pouch yet.

Op here, so here is what I learned from my first camping trip:

-I need to severely work on my cardio
-Check there aren't any widow makers BEFORE you pitch your tarp and tent
-Don't camp with normies, they will spoil your fun.
-Make a fast deploy ridgeline system before you get to camp, like the one bushcraft YouTubers use.
-Molten paracord is really hot (see pic) and always bring a med-kit.
-You don't need a sleeping bag in the middle of summer in central VA
-Don't forget to fully zip up your tent.
-Don't wear clothes that are fully cotton. If it rains and you get wet, you will feel uncomfortable after it stops raining.
-Most importantly, have fun.

Thanks fren. I did a truckers hitch on that end. The 100 ft hank of paracord got tangled into a giant mess, so I ended up cutting it up and tossing it in the trash. Because of this, that is why I recommend a fast deploy ridgeline.

I also just purchased some elastic bungee cord. I am going to tie paracord/bank line to either end and use it as guyline for the ends. Doing this will ensure the guylines are always tight.
