That looks cool, I'd probably want to make the tarp more tight so if it rains it doesn't pool water on the sides. And depending on the size of the tarp you could even have a door on the front, but only if it's big enough.

Thanks. I'm planning on buying stakes to secure it better and learning how to tie knots to improve the structural integrity the next time I build one. I didn't even think about having a door. I'll probably buy a bigger tarp too and try that out.

You can tie a ridgeline over the frame and make the tarp taut over it. It will make it rustle less and be more even. You should do this over night and see how cosy you can stay. Also make some food over a small dug down but managable fire.
