I stay at airbnbs - one time they gave us 20 dollars back for doing all the dishes - I do them by hand and I bring my own sponges and sometimes my own dish soap but they usually have that.

Yes. I carry an msr Alpine dish brush and camp soap. I also plan my routes next to water or crossing water.

Yes, with pine needles or dry grass and hot water.
Its not the best, but is good enough.
If there is not pleny of water avalivable i just use a sip of hot water and some paper.

at most I'll rinse out the one titanium cup i used to make a stew, but 90% of the time it's cooking on sticks or simply simple meals that don't need washing up like eating cheese and jam and salami with a nice baguette bought in a village 2 days before. /out/ is for doing fun shit, relaxing and escaping the gay monotonous tasks of indoor life. never understood people who pack minaiture versions of the whole crockery cabinet. A skillet or a cup (not both) is all I'd ever want.

I mostly do no-cook...bars or gels or meat sticks or nuts.
The few times I have taken cookware I mostly just wipe it out with paper towels that I bury. Also have takes paper plates and you can jus5 leave those the animals will eat them.

Yep. I usually don't use camp soap although I bring it. I favor using a small scrub pad and lots of water which I can then drink. I eat out of a tupperware that seals up tight, so my stove cup does not get food baked on to it. I often make an herbal tea the last thing of the day so that I can make a little extra hot water to clean and then the cup can just be rinsed. On a weekender it's whatever but multiday day yeah I don't want food residue to sit warm in my food bowl like that for countless hours.

How does that work, any difference to a regural dish brush head size and usability wise? Just have just a cut up dish brush that I carry with me for my dish washing.
