I'm sure there's a lot of hate for the AT just from the posts I've seen on this board. But I want to do it, I want to experience it once in my life. I've gotten a bit of an addiction to listening to stories of people's time on that trail. Seems like a lot of people I wouldn't normally associate with, but who cares. Life is nothing unless you're willing to have new experiences.
Who here has done it, I'm planning a north bound (nobo?) trip.
