Hey /out/bros and gals,

I'm searching for a good place to live. I'm interested in Vermont, but know very little about it.

I've lived in a few places in Canada, and Alaska, and some other US States. I'm a biologist type, but early in my career and so have some flexibility.

Where to go? What's a good US state/area for /out/door lives? I'm an /out/doorsman, but one who enjoys a good book and such (if that helps narrow down what kind of town I might be looking for) - a bit of a hippy vibe is okay with me.
