Pic related: what I’m trying to avoid.
I’ve been in remote Alaska for a month, and these pants got absolutely torn. They aren’t the only pants I’ve worn, but are the ones I’ve donned most often and I’m glad they were only $20 at some surplus store. I’m in the market for a pair or two of /out/ pants and ones that will last a while.
I’ve identified a few price points and I’m not sure where I should go.
Should I get the cheapest ones, and just replace them as needed? Shell out for pants that should last me for a few years? Or somewhere in the middle? Part of me is leaning towards the lower cost end of the spectrum so I don’t need to be so cognizant of wear and tear and not get frustrated at a $160 pair of pants ripping or getting stained.
>side note, my issued OCPs although aren't the most breathable can take a great beating, are there pants like these but not in camouflaged?
