My wife and I go for short hikes every few weekends and longer trips when we get the chance. We did the AT trail a few years ago, climbed the Matterhorn a year before that and were planning a mountaineering trip to Nepal pre pandemic.
I love it. She whines a little in cold weather but that's probably fair enough given how thin she is and she never actually quits or slows down (just threatens to), I find it kinda cute t.b.h.

Used to go hiking with most of my ex's too now that I think about it. Camping too, nothing gets girls in the mood better than tents, campfires and waterfalls.
