Hey guys, I’m planning to take my girlfriend camping in the area north of Burnett Reservoir in North Carolina. It looks like a pretty good area with some rivers and large hills to check out. Anyone have experience camping in this area? A couple websites said camping isn’t permitted - how likely am I to be caught and what penalties am I looking at if caught? If I’m camping responsibly will rangers leave me alone? Thanks. Picrel.
