Hi anon,
I have a spare week in mid-September, wanted to take my family on a road trip to Atlantic provinces. I am thinking of driving through QC, maybe doing some whale watching, then spending 2-3 days driving around Nova Scotia, or maybe PEI.
But being a filthy Torontonian I don't know anything about those provinces. Looks like there's a lot of parks I can google, but maybe anon can give me quick overview of what to see there on a short trip? Also how is the weather in September there?
We have backpacking gear, but won't go on long hikes, as we are taking kids with us. I am thinking car camping or motels/hostels. Would be nice to fuck around some storm-pounded seashore or lakes.
