>>2430441They have hiking shoes, but I don't know how they hold up. They used to have minimalist trail shoes and I owned a few pairs. They have since been discontinued. They didn't hold up well, but they were comfortable. They also weren't good for anything technical. They were for being on trail and that's about it. They used to make boots geared towards the military but those were also discontinued, and they were basically day hikers at best.
So far my favorite trekking shoes are the adidas terrex line, and salomons. La sportivas are cool because more than a few have a solid toe cap that you can find in a boot and have good traction, but they did this shit with their soles where they put these little bumps that were different colors on them and would fall off pretty quickly. I have some sportiva nucleo gtx high boots that are more like shoes than boots and I've been happy with them when I use them. I say they're like a shoe because the ankle lacing is pretty forward and is more to keep dust out than to do a heel lock.
