Come LARP with me!

With the current tension in the Orient and the troubles the military is having because so many zoomers are fat and lazy, I put together some randomized notes on what they would need to go live in the woods temporarily (hobo style) rather than dying in a war. This is mostly to spark a discussion and not a complete thought or idea.


>shelter
Tent, tarp to go over it. Separate tarp for living area. How to hang it so it doesn’t collect water or blow down. Poly rope.

>insulation
Sleeping bag. Cot or mattress. Layered clothing. Hat, gloves, appropriate socks.

>first aid and toiletries
Just the basics. Comfort items (otc allergy, Peptobismol, Tylenol). Lime for a latrine, where to dig, etc. Solar heated shower? Bug treatment (chemicals, candles, campfire).

>hydration
How much, how to store it, treatment options

>nutrition
How much, stove options, types of fuel. Animal prevention (bears and mini bears). Waste disposal.

>repair tools
Basics. Zip ties, duct tape, rope, multi tool, etc.

>fire
Basics. Bic, fireplace starters. Good for ambiance and bugs, bad for opsec?

>light
Lantern, headlamp

>elemental protection
It will rain, it will be windy, it will be sunny, it will snow (probably)

Know before you go! National forest operations, how to find less-used roads,

>entertainment and communication, mental health
No cell service. Solar panels for your Nintendo Switch. Books and games! You will be bored.
