https://www.australiangeographic.com.au/topics/history-culture/2022/02/has-lasseters-reef-been-found/Lasseters Reef has been found. Location not public yet, but I'm pretty sure it's around Mt Kate to Ethabuka station in QLD from some pretty detailed descriptions I've read of Bill's exploration and pouring over topographical maps with the knowledge the land marks (Three round hills and the quakers cap mountain) and the can only be spotted when coming from the West.
>Waah Lasseter said it was on the WA/NT borderLasseter was a retard who stole a more experienced bushman's tales of his reef discovery when Lasseter lived as a roommate with the Bushman in Adelaide. Lasseter could never have seen the Reef because he was in the Navy at the time it was originally discovered. Lasseter also didn't understand the concept of Reverse Bearings as well, so headed in the wrong direction.
Apparently Covid put on hold the excavation of the Reef. So anyone with balls of steel can try claim it first.
