>>2437004i get it this bad where it starts circumnavigating my toe every few months. its easy to deal with. soak your feet in the hottest water you can bear, for like an hour until your skin's all clammy. take a very sharp small knife and start cutting the big chunks off until its manageable. then take a file and file it down. it helps to soak again before you file to get that skin underneath you just exposed soft. these things work great too
>>2437003 physically removing it like that can aggravate it and cause it to return depending on underlying cause but its necessary when its that bad.
once its gone i recommend treating your skin in these areas with amlactin frequently at night. not your whole foot just the spots. its expensive but you might be able to get it through insurance. you might have to keep doing this your whole life if its not something like bad socks or bad shoes causing it.
>>2437065it could be his shoes but it could also be a skin condition. ichtyosis makes me develop corns or whatever they're called a lot faster than normal regardless of my shoes, and i get the same thing on my knees.
make sure your shoes fit good including the casual shoes you wear going about your life. consider silk or polypropylene liner socks to reduce abrasion if hot spots in your shoes/boots are causing it. also look up how to lace running shoes properly there's ways to lace your casual shoes and trailrunners to alleviate hot spots in various spots.
