Euthanizing my first cuban tree frog. Feels kinda shitty ending a creature's life but apparently these frogs are destroying the eco system and are highly invasive.

How do I feel less bad and what do you do to eliminate invasive species?

I thought I'd feel bad on my first pig hunt because I put spiders outside rather than killing them but apparently I'm not wired that way. Feel bad fishing but have no qualms mass murdering invasive hogs/goats/deer. Guess you just have to try it and see how you respond.

No they're not. A species that can't reproduce independently in the wild can't be considered invasive. Goats sometimes can do it, but cows and chicken stand no chance, and even when released they don't have what it takes to actually impact the ecosystem.

Depends on the type of cows/chickens and where they’re released. Hawaii has loads of feral chickens, and the more wild junglefowl-like types do fine in most suitable habitats. Feral cattle are a common sight in lots of places, particularly Asia and Australia.

Feral isn't the same as invasive.
In order to become officially invasive being able to survive and reproduce in the wild is not enough; it has to cause significant ecological damage and diminish biodiversity. Chicken and cattle never demonstrated to have that potential anywhere in the world.
Feral pigs are considered invasive too, but mostly because of their impact on agricultural crops. Goats on the other hand can cause serious natural damage in certain areas, a known example is Montecristo island, where goats exist as an ancient introduced species and are a serious obstacle for plant regeneration.

Chicken might not have, but cows absolutely have. They’re absolutely horrible for delicate plants and waterways in northern Australia, whether it’s feral domestic cattle or feral water buffalo. Horses are the same in alpine regions.

Pigs are the worst of the lot, much worse than goats. Their impact on wild areas is as bad if not worse than on farmland
