How to keep deer out of orchard? Considering;
>barbed wire
>electric fence
>white string
Trying to find a cheap option.

Big ass fence of some kind. Pic related, mine was xheat because poles were found on Craigslist and slav wood was cheap as fuck from the local mill.

An angled fence is going to be your best cheapest option. Electric is best though. String won't do anything, barbed wire will only be noticed after they try to jump which will cause a horrid mess.

there's sprays that deter deer and rabbits, they work pretty well. Lasts a few months.

Motion-activated sprinklers work too.

There's plants that apparently repel deer. Mostly aromatic stuff like herbs and flowers. I dunno how well it works. I live in city will lots of urban deer and rabbits, and most people here seem to end up using a fence around their garden.
