Hi /out/doorsmen. I just got a telescope and I'm really excited to get into this. I have zero experience but I've read up a lot of guides in anticipation of it arriving. I live in an often cloudy and very light polluted area. To my understanding, these are the two BIGGEST factors in determining whether I get to stargaze "effectively", right? Also, post your experiences and questions here. Beginner tips etc. also welcome.
