pic related is the pair of mini-mils i've had for almost a year. they have held up amazingly and at this point i can confidently say they're the best shoes i've ever owned.

this winter i am applying for some jobs that involve working full days in several feet of snow, and an wondering if you guys could point me towards a pair of 8" waterproof boots with a reasonably wide toebox. heel drop isn't really an issue for me. i am also open to using non waterproof boots and some heavy wool socks but i don't have any experience with a system like that in winter conditions.
