That part of Alabama is an absolute shithole. The demographics are heavily black, with Talladega being over half black. The poverty rate is around 26%. It’s even worse on the south east side of the forest.

I guess this guy thought he would be ok because he’s armed. Now he’s dead. It’s current year; you can’t trust strangers. Never relax.
