Take an extremely blurry photograph or record a video that never directly points at bigfoot, but captures some of the noises he makes.

I think the most likely encounter with Bigfoot will be at night so video will be kind of pointless unless I want to capture some noises. But say I do hear knocking and wooping sounds in my shelter. Do I just hunker down the next 5 hours until dawn or do I move camp in the middle of the night. What's the probability of Bigfoot attacking me? I won't attack it but I will have a 10mm just in case.

Not much you can do except try and apply the lube as quickly as possible.
I sleep with a small bottle of KY for this reason, and keep it in my bag with me so it’s warm too
