Recently got this kitten from a guy in my (small) town. As you can see it's still relatively a baby. It got scared by my dog and he was on my leg so he scratched me while running away. He seems perfectly healthy, has some fleas though.

Now the question is, can this piece of furr give me rabies ? I did not let him lick my wounds, and the scratch was minor with barely any blood coming out. But from what I've hear about rabies shit gets real and if not treaded in time you die. I will get the vet here in a couple days to deal with his fleas and deal with my other pets routine's check-up

Also note my country has very low statistics of this things happenig, especially from kitten, it's usually some wild rabid animal
