How do I survive in the Great Bear Rainforest? This place looks ascended and beautiful and very fertile. What do I need to learn? It looks like I could easily do fishing there. I cannot handle this modern society hell. I must return to nature and evolve

You need good rain gear, bug spray/nets and a nice hammock setup. Freshwater fishing is mostly limited to trout except for the salmon run in the fall. Be aware that the moss, ferns, and mud will make your tracks extremely obvious if you go off trail. It's like green snow. Also, don't expect to be alone. There's already been generations of hippies and banjo rednecks that have come before you, and some are still out there. So don't fuck anything up unless you really want to piss off the forest spirits.

That is a Kermode bear which is a type of black bear.
A polar bear would be a different story.
