I recently bought a pair of new hiking boots. Haven't done so since I was 14 when my feet finally stopped growing. It's tough for me to find anything to even try on in my size but I found pic related and liked the fit of them in the store.
Took them up a local mountain today and they tore at my heels the whole time. They were laced up tight, I don't feel any slippage but as soon as I'm on an incline they dig in. Any lacing's or other folky things I can try or am I hosed here?
Man it's the first time in 9 years I've had a blister on my foot.
