I have to move to a particular retreat/hotel isolated from society for a job. There is no wi-fi (actually it is available only for the staff, but it goes without saying that it is for a limited time every day), no direct contacts with the outside, all in the middle of a vast wooded area that is not easy to reach.
It is a temporary job and I'm quite thrilled for it because I'm a bit of a lone wolf and the thought of leaving behind the pollution and the filth of the city sounds amazing to me; however, my biggest fear is that I will not be able to handle the impact of a change to a certain life style, rules, detachment and silence. It's a place that takes inspiration to old monasteries.
Have any of you experienced anything similar? How was it and what are your opinions? Advices?
