I just made a couple throwing sticks out of some wood while I was camping and had a blast throwing them. I still can't hit much with them but they're more fun than spears.
No, you cannot see them, they are drying right now and are being pressed down so they dry flat.
I was thinking of getting some cheap surgical tubing or something and making my own slingshot, all of the ones you can but elsewhere the tubing is the same thing but always breaks. The slingshot is obviously the superior hunting tool to the throwing stick but throwing skill carries over to anything you throw and I want to develop the muscle and coordination to throw things really well.
>>2456961>Sell me on slingsThese are so hard to use that it puts your brain into overdrive. If you can shoot a sling hard and accurately you can throw a rock faster and harder than anyone you know and can throw almost anything with amazing speed and accuracy. it also builds some muscle.
There is no reason why you can't do both. It's two different skills and different kinds of fun.
