KEEN Voyageur circa 2016. They have held up surprisingly well. Had to of changed the inserts a dozen or so times over the years, but the boots themselves are still going strong. Have to have a few thousand miles on them at least. I'm quite impressed by them.

Just enlisted in the Marines (yes I know im fighting for Israel and McDonalds but I need the money and education) Looking for a good boot that is in regs. Working as a fire support marine (mos 0861) so not a ton of rucking but something thats better than GI shit. Any suggestions?

What low hiking shoe should I replace my keen targhee 2 with? I've worn them year round (-50c to +35c) for 1 year and the sole is delaminating in a few places. I really like the shoe but would rather spend the money on something that will last longer than a year of dog walking.

I stopped using them because I'm a beekeeper and they were soaked in honey several times. The honey being an acid ate through the water proofing and the soft internal sole. It made them uncomfortable. If they had not been soaked in honey I'm sure they would still be usable.
