Anyone have any experiences with whale watching and know the best time/place to catch a sight of whales in the US? Heard Cape Cod is good for it.

Probably on the coast of Maine and New Brunswick, I've seen a few whales up that way.

Cape Cod or up to Maine on the east coast.
Pretty much the whole west coast from San Francisco to Russia has good whale watching.

Winter time in the PNW, to catch the migrations. It's often foggy though, but certainly worth trying. Just look up migration patterns.

It depends on the region and time of year. They migrate. Also makes for good business. Tons of retards don't even do basic research and PAY idiots to take them out on a boat for a few hours to see whales with no guarentee even though the whales are in a different hemisphere entirely

I have done it on both coast - out of Boston and SF and both were great with many close whale sightings.

I wanted to go to Sri Lanka to swim with blue whales once the whole civil unrest thing died down, but then I found out there’s been a boom in illegal whale watching boats harassing whales and scaring them while also nearly getting people killed so looks like that’s not gonna happen
