After hearing that they were the creme de la creme, I bought a pair of Salomon Quest 4 GTX boots, but they started to suffer from terrible cracking problems after six months, and I got them refunded.
It seems that most boots suffer from some reliability issues over the long-term, 2+ years from what I have read in various reviews.
I was looking at buying some Lowa Tibet or Lowa Camino boots, but even they have some reviews concerning their reliability. Do you guys have any recommendations for good hardy boots that won't fuck me over for at least 3-4 years?
