Just had this happen out on the trail
>Stomping through bush for a few hours or so
>Hear cars in the distance, follow the sound
>Find a dirt road, follow it to the gravel and poke my head out
>I notice a 4wd in the distance, retreat to the dirt path where it can't see me
>Can hear it decelerating, it's going to come down the dirt road
>Decide not to nip into the bush to escape, figure if he sees me running he might chase, just keep walking down the dirt road
>Rough looking bloke, definitely looks like the type, with a dog on the passenger seat pulls up
"Out for a stroll, ay?"
"Yeah hah, y'alright?"
"Yeah no worries"
>The guy looks down at my shoes and flicks his handrolled ciggie, I just keep walking down the road
>Guy turns around and leaves the way he came

Was this guy hiding something on the trail, was he just spooking me for the bants, or did I almost get shot?
