Yes, see if you can find a cheap/nonprofit boathouse in your area. It is lots of fun and Dutch have an excellent yachting culture.

Yes, the nature in NL is protected and rare. In fact, im convinced most of it is artificial anyway.
BUT if you look hard enough you can find peace.
If you check my channel out, ive been to Krammer islands. No soul in sight there.
Or the German woods right at the border of NL in the east.
