>>2467558Hello anon, Greek speaking here.
You chose a good route, you begin from my maternal place of heritage.
- As mentioned, days will still be quite hot, between 20- 30 (if you're unlucky) celsius. Nights will be considerably colder so warm clothes and sleeping bag are a must.
- At November you'll probably find some snow along the way, only on mountaintops if you chose to ascend them, and not in troublesome quantity.
- English is spoken by most young folks and some older ppl. Don't expect to find much of youngfolk in most villages ( unhinged capitalism, post modernism and balkan socioeconomical factors to be blamed).
-BEWARE of sheep and goat herds. They are accompanied by sheepdogs that'll be numerous and want your blood. Some irresponsible herdsmen even leave their herds only with their dogs, which ups the danger to extreme. I've personally escaped possible fatal mangling by a hairstring a couple times. Get the dog repellent sound wave thingies to be on the safe side and generally avoid close encounters with herds. If you spot a pen, give it a wide berth.
- Wild animals aren't an issue. Boars are most numerous but mostly avoid people. Predators such as wolves are small in number in the Peloponnese and you shouldn't encounter any.
- Provisions aren't an issue. You' ll be able to procure fresh and packed staff in most villages, but be prepared.
- I'd suggest adding mount Parnon in your route, it's quite worth it.
