I'm looking for a new Day Pack for hiking (also around town). I want it small enough to be compact for an edc and light weight hiking bag but big enough to carry the essentials like a jacket, first aid kit, stove, kettle, rain cover, etc... Also, it would be great if it had at least one water bottle pocket on the side so I don't have to open up the bag every time I want a drink.

I was kind of thinking about pic related but it doesn't have a water bottle pocket, though I'm sure I could attach something like a Klean Kanteen to the straps though.

What do you recommend? What's your set up? What do you carry in your day bags?
