I can't figure it out, I'm very stupid.
And it wasn't my fault, one of them came undone by itself so I must've removed the other strap too (couple years back now)

there's a better way to do it but close enough
you can loop the excess back through the clip so it goes outwards and theres less of it. just go over the side closest to the excess and under the next.
