Oh what I would give to explore Europe before agriculture started. It really seems like one of the most interesting places in the world, with such a varied geography in such a small place.
To explore the unspoiled coasts and islands of the Mediterranean, the endless forests of Central Europe containing aurochs, wood bisons, moose, tarpans, bears, wolves, etc...
There were even Lions in the Balkans.
Evergreen forests and dense oak forests used to cover most of Southern Europe, now there are just shrubs left.
Imagine the Rhine and the Danube without any restraints meandering through the plains of Europe.
The Taiga of Scotland.
The unspoiled Alps with conifers and wild rivers everywhere instead of cattle pastures on every mountain top and dams in every valley.
Does it get more beautiful than this?
