Tastes nice and takes on a noodle-like consistency from frying. About a third made a nice dinner (fried, with onions, and then cream and white wine added to make a sauce) , some more we dried, but a bunch ended up going moldy from one day to the next before being used. Because cleaning this stuff takes ages. It's almost like an open sponge in its structure, so all sorts of insects and dirt get deep in there (without eating it, however) . You have to take it apart into very small pieces and clean them almost individually
