It costs about $6-7000 to get base camp service for K2 (i.e. full service trek to K2 basecamp + service while in basecamp).
I am going to pay to do this and then go try to and follow the fixed ropes, set up by the sherpas for the bourgie guide services, up K2 on my own. I invite any other m/out/aineers to join me.
