I really liked his videos, nice mix of camping, info and the odd video about the stuff he carried.
One of his videos had a /k/ patch drawn on so he did use this site once upon a time. He follows alot of Japanese accounts on Instagram including camping ones, some of his post have Japanese tags on them. My guess is that he's moved over there and/or got someone pregnant so he doesn't have time for video making anymore which seems the most likely, also the politics and how restrictive youtube has gotten might played a role in him stepping away as well.
Though he might simply ran out of video ideas and stuff to talk about.
He might actually have a Japanese channel out there somewhere but good luck finding it.
