Because the breed (like this fact or not I don't give a damn) was breed specifically for dog fighting. Its naturally made to be a more aggressive breed of dog. This breed should carry a healthy fear/wariness among everyone because of said fact stated above. However if the dog is young enough and has the right owner it will be far more docile and being a very moldable dog is one of its redeeming qualities.
