Can anyone recommend a fingerless mitten I can use for scrambling. The ones by sealskinz are good but not very warm, They're more like a thick liner

they're a compromise between not having your hands numb from the cold and retaining some nimbleness in your fingers
I wouldn't use them for protection desu but they still offer some protection on your knuckles, palm etc.
